What is Coaching Coach?

Creating reality and putting it into practice

How often have you awaken, jumped out of bed and begun your workday before you have even really thought about it? Many of us live very busy lives – we work until we cannot think any more at night and we jump out of bed with a list of things that need to be done. We are on auto-pilot.

Being on auto-pilot really indicates that we already know where we are going and often we are just recreating the same journey and destination as we had yesterday, last week, last month or last year. We could compare it to the daily non-stop flight from Vancouver to Montreal.

We know how to take off, all the standard operating procedures, and the destination. The only time we veer from the path or change our co-ordinates is when there is a storm, or something interferes in some way with our flight plan. We react to circumstances – and often that creates band-aid solutions or even worse – disaster.

Is this how you are running your business – or worse yet your life? Think about it! How many of us are on auto-pilot? Someone once told me that doing the same things over and over again in the same way and expecting different results is the definition of insanity. So if we are on auto-pilot every day - and we expect to have a different outcome – then we are expecting the impossible!

I bet you are now asking, “what do you mean auto-pilot? Am I on auto-pilot, and how can I tell?”

Here are a few clues that indicate you just might be on autopilot:
You think:
• Well, my client Sarah is always late for her appointment – why would today be any different?
• Every time I go to the mailbox there is nothing there but bills or flyers!
• I just know from experience that I cannot commit until a few days before – because when I do – something always comes up and I cannot go
• Another day another dollar
• I hope I can make payroll this week

Being on auto-pilot means that expect the past to repeat itself – and that, my friends, is exactly what you get. That’s right – you get exactly what you expect!

If anyone has ever watched Groundhog Day with Bill Murray, you will understand what I mean. In this movie every day that Bill Murray gets out of bed, the same things happen over and over again – that is until, Bill Murray starts to change how he acts and thinks. And each little change that he makes changes the outcome of the story a little bit more.

I have heard people say that we keep having similar circumstances in our lives appear because we have not learned our lessons. That may be true. But there is ONE lesson that rules over all lessons. What we need to learn is - What you create in your mind – is what you attract into your life. So – if you expect bills you cannot pay – that is exactly what you get. If you expect a client to be late – it happens over and over. If you wake up feeling grumpy and expect it will be a long tiresome day – that is what you get.

What you create in your mind – is what you attract into your life.

What would happen if you changed your way of thinking? If you wake up grumpy and say to yourself – “I am grateful for my day, my house, my freedom, my business, my family – I am grateful I can wiggle my toes and stretch! I am excited for the great things that will happen today in my life. I am so excited about the new opportunities that are happening as I lay here in bed and think on them! I can create a fantastic day with opportunities. I can see my success. I can see the success of others and I expect it for all of us.

What you create in your mind – is what you attract into your life.

The only way you will ever change your circumstances, your business, or your success – is to think differently and expect and be excited for the great things that are happening. See yourself and your circumstances as you want them. Think on the successful outcome of a situation and be excited to watch it unfold. Watch for door opening that you never expected before to open – they will open because you expect it now!

If ever there was a business tip that I would recommend everyone practice every day – this is the one! To change your life you must change your thinking – it is all up to you! You can Create reality and put it into practice!

Question:

How can I increase my revenue - without working so hard?

Answer:

Many of us trade time for money if we offer a service. The thing to think about is finding a product that supports our service and is something that our clients can use over and over.

Many of us have 'real estate' or office space that could be housing extra products that we can sell. Selling a product require no 'work' on our part compared to the services we offer.

Even a website can offer us sales that require little work and can increase our income.
